1. Re: Editing a pdf in illustrator makes thin lines to appear wider.
Jacob Bugge Dec 1, 2014 1:34 PM (in response to mrFraZaffa)FraZaffa,
How about selecting one path and then Select>Same>Stroke Weight or Stroke Color or Fill&Stroke to only select those paths and change the Stroke Weight back as desired?

mrFraZaffa Dec 1, 2014 1:37 PM (in response to Jacob Bugge)Hi Jacob,
Problem is that the stroke weight is set correctly, and in the printed document it's ok, it is still annoying that on screen the stroke seems so different.
Thank you.

Jacob Bugge Dec 1, 2014 2:22 PM (in response to mrFraZaffa)FraZaffa,
Are you sure it is not a colour shift rather than a weight shift, then?

tromboniator Dec 1, 2014 6:53 PM (in response to mrFraZaffa)Are you, by any chance, viewing the pdf in Acrobat? If so, check the preferences under Page Display and see if Enhance thin lines is activated. Turn that off and it should display the lines correctly.

7. Re: Editing a pdf in illustrator makes thin lines to appear wider.
mrFraZaffa Dec 3, 2014 11:06 PM (in response to mrFraZaffa)@jacob No it's not a color shift, it's black in AutoCAD and in Illustrator.
@tromboinator no, I'm viewing it in Adobe Reader.

8. Re: Editing a pdf in illustrator makes thin lines to appear wider.
tromboniator Dec 4, 2014 4:08 AM (in response to mrFraZaffa)The same advice applies in Adobe Reader: go to Preferences: Page Display: Rendering. Turn off Enhance thin lines.
