1. Re: CC Manager & Installation Errors
moookers Dec 1, 2014 2:44 PM (in response to moookers)FYI I just tried uninstalling all Adobe products, running the Cleaner Tool, reinstalling CC Manager. Still no dice. Some guy called me from Adobe Support and told me it was a server issue, then tried to sell me the CS6 for $650 instead. I told him I wanted CC to work, not buy the entire suite right now. He said he'd talk to his supervisor and have a senior rep call me back.
That was an hour ago.

Jeff A Wright Dec 2, 2014 10:23 AM (in response to moookers)Moookers I would recommend reviewing the installation logs to determine why the installations are failing. You can find details on how to locate and interpret the installation log files at Troubleshoot install issues with log files | CC - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cc.html. You are welcome to post any specific errors you discover to this discussion.

moookers Dec 2, 2014 10:27 AM (in response to Jeff A Wright)Hi Jeff! I was able to chat with Adobe reps (on chat and via Twitter, interestingly). Turns out the errors I was receiving were Microsoft-related. They helped me step-by-step to turn on some services from Windows that were blocking full installation. Is there a page for that? I didn't have to do anything really fancy, just go into Services and "Start" two processes. One was actually disabled, the other wasn't running but set on Manual.
