2. Re: Move typekit Kit to another Adobe ID
mhammar Dec 2, 2014 2:40 AM (in response to Rajshree)Thanks for your response Rajshree,
My issue is that I have two Adobe ID accounts. Both with multiple kits on them. Now, I want to move one of the kits over from one account to the other. I don't want to link them or create more Adobe ID's.
Is this possible?
Thanks,
M

3. Re: Move typekit Kit to another Adobe ID
Liz, Typekit Support Dec 2, 2014 6:16 AM (in response to mhammar)Hi mhammar,
I'm sorry that you ran into trouble with this. It isn't possible to transfer kits between plans; they are tied to the subscription on which they are created.
In order to consolidate your two subscriptions into one plan, you would need to recreate any kits your using from [plan 1] on to [plan 2]. If you are comfortable working from the command line, there is a Typekit API which you can use to retrieve the kit info programmatically:
https://typekit.com/docs/api/kits
Sorry I couldn't be of more help, but please let me know if you have any other questions. You can also email us at support@typekit.com with your account information, if you would prefer to discuss it privately.
Best,-- liz

mhammar Dec 2, 2014 3:51 PM (in response to Liz, Typekit Support)Thanks Liz,
I will do it manually, the specific Kit I want to transfer to another Adobe ID is not complicated. I was just curious as I would like to avoid any downtime on the site when changing the typkit ID.
All good, thanks for your quick response.
Cheers
