    Adobe Muse url's

    Inkone

When I make a site with Muse and export it to ftp, all pages (also the child/sub pages) are in the same directory as the index file...

      For example: If I have a site called 'Demo' with a few kind pages under 'Graphic';

        Top level:                            Home                             Graphic                                       Website

        Child (sub)pages:                                       Illustrations          Logo

If I put this to the ftp I get url's like this:

      www.demo.com/graphic

      and for the child page:

      www.demo.com/illustrations

But what I would like to see is that the child page would be shown as:

      www.demo.com/graphic/illustrations

I can't find how I can do this. Hope someone does know!

nb. I work not with business catalyst but put a site straight to ftp.

          Hi,

Yes that is the default behavior of the MUSE app to put all the pages in the root folder.

But to achieve "www.demo.com/graphic/illustrations" we can go for a workaround:

          1. Create sub folders on the hosting (Like graphic )
          2. Now you need to create different website in muse for each folder.

Note: If you are using any menu widget in muse and working on the same concept as above, then make sure you work on "manual " Menu Type.

Reason: menu will always try to find the link in the root folder, if not defined as "Manual"

          Enjoy working with MUSE !

          Thanks
