Captain N. Dec 2, 2014 10:49 AM (in response to balkovsky)It seems not well understood, but swfs are backward compatible. As long as you don't use AS3 APIs, or other SWF features that would keep an older player from playing your content (such as LZMA compression), a newer SWF will work just fine.
Adobe hasn't made this easy to test. You'll have to use a Flash uninstaller and then install an older flash player to see it working.
