Then select the image you want to add and just click and drag on to your blank canvas, repeat for all you other images and may be easier to close them down as you go.
I hope this helps?

csuebele Dec 2, 2014 9:03 AM (in response to pixeltaker)You should change the layers of the images that you transfer into Smart Objects, so that you can resize them without loosing the ability to re-edit later.

pixeltaker Dec 2, 2014 9:08 AM (in response to csuebele)I am very new to Photoshop CC, so I'm not sure what "smart objects" are. Change the layers? As I put each photo into the blank canvas, does it create a layer for each one? Is this what you meant? I guess I need further instructions on how to change these into "smart objects". Thanks again for your help.

Warunicorn Dec 2, 2014 9:20 AM (in response to pixeltaker)If you use File > Place Embedded, you'll be able to resize and place (move, rotate, etc.) images as appropriate in your open document with the added bonus of having them added as Smart Objects. (Note that using Smart Objects can greatly increase the file size of your document. Just be aware.)
File > Place Embedded > resize and place (hold down Shift to constrain proportion as you resize) > confirm by clicking the checkmark or "commit" icon.
For layers that already exist, right-click the layer in the Layers panel > Convert to Smart Object.

Warunicorn Dec 2, 2014 9:35 AM (in response to pixeltaker)Forgot to add: Smart Objects are like a super-duper version of image layers; they're lossless, able to be resized up and down (or down and up) without fear of losing detail like you would a plain-vanilla image layer. (This is why they can increase the file size of document considerably. Shouldn't be too much of a problem though if you have a peppy system with plenty of RAM.)
