How to get Two-Page Booklet View?

How do you ensure 2 page-view displays correct 2-page view of a booklet PDF?

Is this a file you created? If so, assuming you have Acrobat, then you can set its Initial View settings under File - Properties.

If you only have Reader the best you can do is enable the option to restore the last view setting when reopening documents under Edit - Preferences - Documents.

Thanks for your reply which is fine in terms of the general question I posed - but I already knew how to prepare the view in general but have found multipage files prepared for booklet presentation in either prrinting or viewing have suddenly taken (since 28th November) to opening incorrectly for viewing in Adobe Reader  (i.e. asking for Page Display/Two Page View) results in immediate views of pages 1&2; 3&4; 4&6 etc, instead of the correct sequence of 1; 2&3; 3&4 etc.   There is nothing wrong with the files as they show correctly on my laptop.

Both PC and laptop run Windiows 7 but the laptop has 64-bit operatng system.

I first noticed that some of the Adobe system files were date 28 November suggesting some update.

I have uninstalled Adobe Reader and re-installed the latest download - to no effect.

Go to View - Page Display, and click on "Show cover page in two page view".

                Absolutely.

What a simple answer, and now the source of  (and answer to) the problem seems so blindingly obvious !!
