1. Re: Crash on adding image assets form the pool
Dave LaRonde Dec 2, 2014 11:31 AM (in response to Murrzeak)What's "the pool"? It's not a common term. Are you working with footage stored on a network?

Murrzeak Dec 2, 2014 11:36 AM (in response to Dave LaRonde)Hey Dave. By "pool" I meant project tab or whatever it's right name is.
The footage or rather raster images are on the local SSD drive, I simply
drag them from the folder they're stored into the project tab.

Dave LaRonde Dec 2, 2014 12:01 PM (in response to Murrzeak)Looks like a Mac. Did you recently install Yosemite? If so, have you updated your Adobe apps automatically from the Help section of the main menu?

4. Re: Crash on adding image assets form the pool
Rick Gerard Dec 2, 2014 3:52 PM (in response to Dave LaRonde)Try converting your .png files to .jpg. There have been reports of problems with png files.
If that doesn't work, check the color space of your stills.

5. Re: Crash on adding image assets form the pool
Murrzeak Dec 3, 2014 1:50 AM (in response to Rick Gerard)I managed to make it work yesterday by going to safe mode. When I rebooted back to normal mode it worked for me for a while but today the problem is back again. I've tried swapping the PNGs with JPG but nothing's changed. The colour space is the usual one I work in - sRGB.

Szalam Dec 3, 2014 7:00 AM (in response to Murrzeak)I believe Dave was asking if the images are RGB or CMYK.

7. Re: Crash on adding image assets form the pool
Murrzeak Dec 3, 2014 7:07 AM (in response to Szalam)It's RGB yes. The thing is, I don't even get the crash LOG, because the app freezes forever but not crashes.
