1. Re: Adobe Encore has accountered an error [..\..\src\AMEPrestProber.cpp-265]
Stan Jones Dec 2, 2014 11:35 AM (in response to animageforyou)When you "deleted," do you mean uninstalled? Did you run the Cleaner as part of the uninstall?
Are you running "as administrator"?
I don't see a known fix for this.
Can you workaround by exporting/importing?

animageforyou Dec 4, 2014 8:22 AM (in response to Stan Jones)Hi Stan,
Thank you for your response.
I meant 'Uninstalled'. Just the Encore and Pre Pro, but no the whole Production Premiums Suite. Should have I uninstalled the complete Production Prem and re-install?
I don't understand the 'Cleaner' bit? I will be happy to try this, if someone tells me what it is and how I can locate it.
Yes, I am the Adminstrator and the only one using the PC.
I did encode the time lines in Prem Pro to .H624 Blu ray and then used these. But took too long in Encore.

3. Re: Adobe Encore has accountered an error [..\..\src\AMEPrestProber.cpp-265]
Stan Jones Dec 4, 2014 9:40 AM (in response to animageforyou)When you uninstall Adobe stuff, you need to run their cleaner to get rid of things that will interfere with reinstalls.
Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6
Being the administrator is not the same as running a program "as administrator."
John Smith:
Right click the Encore icon on your desktopSelect Properties
Shortcut tab
Select Advanced
Click the Run as Admin option
Click OK
Click OK
