    Can not e-mail with Outlook

    jluboff Community Member

When attempting to send a PDF from Acrobat to an e-mail running through Outlook, we get this error message:

"Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail client."

I have researched this error and have not come up with a fix. So far, have attempted to upgrade from Acrobat 9 to Acrobat 10, registry hack as noted on another forum post, verified default application is set to Outlook. Nothing so far has worked.

      Any advice?

      Thank you.

              1. Deactivate Acrobat.

              2. Download Acrobat cleaner tool for Acrobat 9 and 10 they are different for 9 and for 10.

              3. Run the cleaner tool for Acrobat 10 first and then run for 9.

              4. Restart your machine. Make sure no office application is running, close Outlook if is already running.

              5 Reinstall Acrobat.

If the problem persist take screen shots of the problem and reply with screen shots.
