Help! First time running CC 2014 and I added a page to one of my book files, which sent a cascade of page updates throughout the files in book — which crashed ID. When I restarted it, the program tossed out 31 recovery files, even though there are only 10 files in the book. And I couldn't get it to stop spinning that beach ball.
I think the easiest thing to do would be to blast all the recovery files. But since Mavericks I have no idea where they are located. Where are they?
And is it too late to go back to plain old CC?
Found the folder. Searched Community and discovered the hidden folder trick. InDesign has calmed down.
But still. Can I not get last year's CC version? I still have it for Illustrator and PS ...
You can download InDesign CC from the CC desktop app. Under the Apps tab, scroll down till you see Filters & Versions.
