Opening project "save untitled first?" NO!

    stephenHibberd

      OK this is annoying.

      After effects is closed down.

Double click to open existing project.

Before the project opens you get the annoying option asking you if you want to save untitled project! Whats that for? I want to open my project, the one I have chosen to open.
Auto save is off, cache directory is empty, latest version.

Is there a way to turn this off?

      Thanks for any help guys.

What is the full text of the error message?

What is the exact version of AE that you're using?

What version of AE did you use to create the file that you're trying to open?

What is the full text of the error message? "Save changes to "Untitled Project.aep" before closing."

What is the exact version of AE that you're using? Very latest release 2014

From the message stated. It seem that on launch, AE creates an untitled project before it realises that you have double clicked to open a project therfore asking you if you want to save this unwanted untitled project. Do you get the same message when double clicking existing project file? It should just open the project no questions asked!

            Cheers for any help!
