Hello, i'm making a particle system with 'Particular' but i got a question, when i play the particles the particles start from nothing and then they continue to be animated until the end (as a default) but i want to somehow 'freeze' the particles to be able to animate them manually, because i want it to move the particles slowly since i'm doing a ashes simulation, i need to use only those particles so i want to know how can i mantain the particles still (not with freezing the frame) so i can be able to change parameters along the timeline.
You cannot modify particle properties on the fly. attributes like lifespan, speed etc. are determined on emission and evaluated in combination with the various graphs and gradients and other parameters. You can "freeze" the simulation with the Physics time parameter, but you cannot modify any of those properties for particles already born. So a particle born after you keyframed the lifespan may have a different life expectancy, but not one already in your stream.
Animate the parameter for number of particles emitted to zero. They stop.
