What version of Premiere Elements is involved, and on what computer operating system is it running?
When did you purchase Premiere Elements, and was the purchase from Adobe direct?
Just purchased version 13. I use a dell laptop running windows 7. I purchased from Amazon but have now returned it, so it is now a square 1 position. I know that I can do this using AE but the cost of running that is way beyond me. On average i make say 6 Vids a year.
If it was possible to work on a PYG system at a reasonable hourly rate this might solve the problem. Allowing me to convert to DGN adjust colour exposure etc and then save for finishing in Elements.
Thanks for the reply with additional information.
Programs such as Premiere Pro, After Effects.... (Adobe Creative Cloud group) ... are now only subscriber based. As far as I know, Adobe offers
a yearly plan paid by month
a yearly plan prepaid
You might want to contact Adobe for more information on this.
There is a telephone number on the above web page, 800-585-0774.
I know that I can do this using AE but the cost of running that is way beyond me.
In the CC system, a single program like AE is $20 a month.
Thanks for the info. I have had a chat with Vanessa at CC help and found that Yes I can use AE on a monthly basis but at a cost of £27 odd per monthly session. That is clearly out of the question. Another option is to see if I can get an external Graphics card for my Dell 5010 laptop and go down the Blackmagic lite route.
Ain't it fun.
I was thinking about you this afternoon. We must have been on the same wavelength.
I just wanted to caution you about reading the fine print in the Adobe subscriptions, yearly plan prepaid versus yearly plan paid by month.
There is one scenario where you could end up paying a % of the unused contract if you decided you wanted to discontinue the plan mid way.
I think that is what I read in the link that I posted.
It is an interesting topic that you present. Best wishes.
If you schedule permits, please update us on your progress.
System will not let me use the reply i want
Think it might be that I refer to other systems
I am not sure what is going on behind the scenes with this web site in the past few days. One day I could not post in your thread at all. Another day
I was receiving Inbox email notifications that were never posted in the Adobe Premiere Elements Forum or were posted several hours after I saw them
in my Inbox email notifications. I was waiting for the problem to disappear on its own. If not, we can post in the Adobe Comments Forum to find out what
might be going on.
Yours has not been the only thread where I have had these problems.
