Do you mean 7D Mk II? And were you trying to tether?
If yes - the 7D Mk II isn't supported yet for tethering. It's supported for conversions, but tethering always takes a little longer.

No, my camera is not MKII, it's a 7D old (1th series), and i connect it using an usb cable ... note that Canon EOS Utility software works fine!
Can you try a different USB cable? (I know it's working with EOS Utility).
ok, problem solved.
there were a lot of photos on the memory card, I deleted everything and now it seems to work regularly .... photos are recognized.
I will try again when I have so many photos on the memory card.

hi, described problem come back again !!! ... only about 70 photos and lightroom do not recognize them ... with only 6 photos onto memory cards and lightroom recognize them regulary.
Note that Canon EOS Utility and Canon EOS Professional software works fine whit many hundreds pictures !!!
