The Lightroom standalone purchase defaulted to an upgrade license. I didn't notice. I'd like to find out what to do about this, but my purchase doesn't include phone support and chat is unavailable (seems like a middle-of-the-day time for chat to be unavailable. Maybe something's wrong. Did I disable flash?)
So anyway, I don't know what to do from here since my chat requests enter the void and it's kind of a one-off specific question to ask on a forum. Any recommendations?
I know my question here wasn't very clear—it was clearly borne of frustation—but I complained on twitter and Adobe's response was remarkably quick and effective. It would be nice if there were *any* means at all of submitting a formal troubleshooting question with *any* assurance that it was actually received and in a queue to get processed.
