    Adding music to videos

    Topflightup

I'm trying to add music to a video from my ITunes collection. This is for my personal use, not to be published anywhere. When I try to add the music, I get the message "add media failure" "this type of file is not supported or the codec is not supported". Is there anything I can do to resolve this issue?

What version of Premiere Elements are you using and on what computer operating system is it running?

iTunes music is often problematic in Premiere Elements, and you need to convert it to the wav version in iTunes before importing the file into

a Premiere Elements project. Please see the following iTunes how to

If you have any questions on that how to, I will give you my own step by step for the task.

Older iTunes music may create additional problems. But, let us see if the above works for you.

          Thank you.
