When I try to launch my LR5 app, it says that there was an error when reading from its preview cache and will attempt to ix the problem the next time it launches. When I open my adobe account, it shows LR as an option to download...Any tips on how to get it to work again?unable
Use your system browser and open the folder that contains your catalog. Look for a folder with the extension .lrdata and delete that folder. Then try to start Lightroom as you normally do.

as yours. I just wish I didn't have to do that...but it could be worse!
I'm glad you're able to work things out. You're not alone. This problem seems to be prevalent and comes up almost daily. I have no idea what causes the problem.
