I purchased the US149 version from Adobe. I think I might know what is wrong. Finally I found my account page and it says that it may take up to 24 hours to complete my order. It would have been nice if they told me that!
I will check again tomorrow and see if all is working. I am assuming i don’t have to download anything , it will just licence the one I downloaded for the trial. Boy , they sure don’t make this easy! Thanks so much for your response! Stay tuned!!
If it still doesn't work, you could try re installing Lightroom.
You may have downloaded the trial of the Creative Cloud version of Lightroom. The Perpetual license key will not work to activate that.
Uninstall the existing version of Lightroom using the normal procedure for your operating system. This procedure will not interfere with your Catalog, Preferences or personal files.
Download the latest version of LR 5 from the link below. Run the install package and when prompted enter the serial number and every thing should be fine.
