is this real or do I make a big mistake?
This title is created inside Premiere Pro CC2014. The upper part is rendered in sofware only mode, and this is also how it looks inside the title tool. The lower part is rendered with GPU.
Turning on the GPU acceleration chances the resulting color dramatically! Look at the Red valued compared to the others. Also the transparency looks totally different. (The blue part has an opacity of 90%).
So how should I integrate the GPU acceleration into my workflow? I still can hear some promotion statements like "rendering with gpu is x-times faster than with cpu...." OK well, its faster but unfortunatly unusable!
Are these exported or just preview images?
If they're preview only, try comparing encoded/exported content.
These images are exported jpgs. A rendered movie looks the same.
And the same result if the grafic is a .psd instead off a premiere pro title
I read that to match GPU rendering with CPU to have GPU set to enable max quality
but can't always guarantee the talk covers the walk.
were you max quality?
