You have to edit the support list in Premiere to get the GPU acceleration or just delete the Cudatextfile in the Premiere directory. CS6 stillr equired the card to be on the supported list before the hardware MPE enabled. BTW AE has a ray tracer file that needs to be edited for the AE Ray tracer acceleration. However that is rarely used and AE doesnt have any acceleration beyond that.
Hi, thank you for your reply.
Sorry was busy with other prj and wasn't able to try your solution.
I just managed to try your recommended solution and nothing happened.
I even deleted the cuda support file and even edited by typing in the GPU number in it and nothing happened.
Can't find the Cudatextfile too
Thank you very much for your time
If you edited the Cudatextfile in the Adobe Premiere CS6 directory correctly then the acceleration should be enabled. The only way it it's not is if you have the wrong driver for that version of Adobe or did not edit the text file with the exact name of the card. You can use the GPUsniffer in that same Premiere directoy with the command prompt to see the name the GPU should be listed as. The Ray Tracer file in AE has to be edited with the same listing.
