Pixelated printing of linked graphics in InDesign CS6

Since upgrading to this version (CS6 for Mac), I have often had issues correctly printing placed graphics. They look low res though they have been properly "placed" and there are no errors detected in preflight. I just tried printing a letter with a placed file and two copy/paste images from the internet. The internet images look better than the placed graphic psd file! Everything is crisp on screen, but placed PSD, JPG, AI, PDF, all look crummy when printed.

I have looked through Preferences and have "High Quality Display" chosen, but that's only for screen viewing anyway, right?

I would appreciate any direction on this. Thank you!!
