BOILERPLATE TEXT extracted from the FAQ:
Do not be abusive or aggressive in your tone
An aggressive, demanding, accusatory or abusive sounding post will often evoke an aggressive or abusive and unhelpful reply.
Remember, you are not addressing Adobe here in the user forums. You are requesting help from volunteers users just like you who give their time free of charge. No one has any obligation to answer your questions.
I'm sorry guys - I genuinely didn't realise this was not Adobe (mightly lot of branding there!) - it was a rant rather than a question born out of frustration.
I shall address this issue direct.
Of course there's "mightly [sic] lot of branding there", the forums are sponsored by Adobe, just not officially or regularly monitored by them, and they are on the Adobe site.
Some Adobe staff do drop by from time time as volunteers to offer technical help, on their own time and dime.
Point taken - I'm onto Adobe chat now
