I am trying to modify the number of points a polygon has. For example, I go to insert a polygon, and it starts off as star, rather than a hexagon. I know I can modify the points in Illustrator using the distort and transform tool, but how can I modify the points in InDesign?
Double-click the Polygon tool. Set the Star Inset to 0, and you have a polygon. Set it to a value larger than 0, e.g., 40, and it will be a star. The number changes the position of the inner points of the star.
