Import image sequence: images not at 0,0?

    patrickcheatham Community Member

      Hi there:

I'm importing an image sequence (71 images) to my stage. Both the Stage and the images are 1200px square. When I import the images, they all end up at roughly x:242 y:2. Am I doing something wrong, or is there an easy way to get them back to the top left of stage?

I have to do this for 32 FLAs each of 71 frames, and would hate to have to manually set each image to the proper position...

      Thanks in advance!

If you look under the timeline, second button next to the FPS (frame per seconds)
indicator, you will find EDIT MULTIPLE FRAMES button.
Before you press is, lock layers you don't wish to modify.
Press the button, stretch the bracket on top of the timeline to cover the frames
you wish to move. CTRL K to open the ALIGN tool. Using that you can position
TO STAGE using the top raw of buttons - All frames at once.

Wow, cool! Look at that, an "edit multiple frames" button... Who knew? ;) I do so much in actionscript, but so little with the actual timeline, that one just went right by me.

Many thanks for the detailed and quick response... This will save me a lot of keystrokes!

(nice photo at your web site, btw)

            Cheers!

Since it has been so long, I was wondering if there was some kind of fix for this issue. I have found that hitting Ctrl+1, then Ctrl+2 will center the stage and imports will come in very close to 0,0, but I still have issues where images or video will come in at 0.45, 0.45 or 0.1, 1.5. And this can be a single file that I am importing several images all in one sitting.

It is really annoying because I have to double check every single import and edit multiple frames over and over. Is there a fix, or is this a bug that no one else has noticed? Or am I one of only two people that have this problem?

              Thanks in advance
