I am investigating an issue with indesign server where it stops talking over soap. It appears otherwise to be running normally - using a small percentage of cpu time, etc but just doesn't respond on the soap port anymore.
I'm wondering if others have seen the same problem or somehow is related to our code/usage?
I believe this is related to problems with queueing of scripts in the soap server. If the server is busy when the script is received it is queued until the server idle thread de-queues it. The server idle thread takes a little while to run when a script is finished and another one can 'jump' the queue by appearing in the interval.
I've reported to adobe so hopefully will be fixed.
