We encounter this problem on a school campus :
Students work on photoshop on macs, they work locally on a file (because we know directly on the server is not recommended); when class is over, they copy the file over to their network folder which is NTFS.
Some files get corrupted when they open it up the class after, filters get black or weird stuff happening.
Ever see this happen ?
Nobody can help you without exact technical information., We don't know anything about your server configuration, your network, user accounts and what else. in fact we don#t even know your version of PS because you haven't told us, so this is kinda useless...
We are under PS 13.0.6. Mac osx 10.9.5.
Users log with the AD accounts and home directory are created locally.
They work on a project with files saved on the desktop, at the end of the class they drag the psd file to their home directory on the network, which is on a windows server (NTFS file system). That server is 2012.
