I found an answer to this problem before in this forum, but
it seems to have been removed. Would appreciate if anyone could
repost the solution (and I will write it down!)
Flashpaper intalled with Contribute 3. When I try to convert
a document to FlashPaper it begins the conversion but never
finishes, even for a very short document.
Someone had posted a solution - if I remember it partially it
involved deleted some particular flashpaper file on my computer and
replacing it with a different version. I'm trying to help fix this
problem on a different computer, but as I said cannot remember the
I was able to find the answer in Macromedia's site. Posted
here in case others are also hunting:
The solution is to re-install FlashPaper from the Command
* On Windows, go to: Start > Run.
* Type cmd and click ok to invoke the Command Prompt.
* Type cd C:\program files\macromedia\FlashPaper 2\i386,
* Type ..\fpdriversetup.exe –ui, click Enter.
This will run the old driver install executable. It's very
important to be in the i386 folder, and run the exe which is in the
parent folder by preceding the command with ..\ as shown above.
