Welcome to the forum.
Do I detect an IT department trying to set up RoboHelp?
RH has to be installed with the user's logon, not that of an IT person. Also at the time of installation, the user's logon must have admin rights.
There's a topic on my site about Installing RH which covers all that in detail.
Not sure but I doubt a silent install is possible. It may be necessary to raise this one with Adobe.
Please post back however you get on. It will help us another time.
We discovered that our new developers are no longer being set up with admin access to their machines. When we got admin access (and disabled the virus scanner), the installation worked. Happily resolved, but it would have saved a lot of time if the error message had been less obtuse.
True but then again the instructions do point out the need for such rights.
