My indesign has been crashing for a couple of weeks now. Sometimes it opens other times it doesn't, not only that but it is corrupting files I do manage to get into and work on. I have not changed my workflow in any way, this seems like one day something changed but I didn't do anything differently. I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, deleting preferences which actually seemed to make it worse have also removed the recovery files and restarted the application but the same issues keeps arising. The log seems pretty confusing to me but hopefully someone can help and I can't make any sense out of it currently.
Unless you post the crash log on pastebin.com and give us a link to it we aren't going to be able to make sense of it, either.
Looks like it's crashing on startup. Make sure the recovery folder is empty, and see Cant launch new inDesign CC | Adobe Community for how to be sure you have the correct permissions on the prefs folders. Also see Troubleshoot fonts | Mac OS X as it looks like i might be text related.
Other things to try include disabling any non-adobe plugins, including a font manager auto-activation plugin, trying a new user account, and starting the Mac with the shift key down to disable start-ups.
