    Rendering slows down halfway

Trying to render out my composition, I've tried many different settings but it always seems to slow down at around 40% from an estimated completion of 3h to 20+. I've changed the length, quality, turned off multiprocessing all to no avail, what could i be missing?

I have a pretty fast Mac Pro:

      3,7 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon E5

      64 GB 1866 MHz DDR3 ECC

      AMD FirePro D500 3072 MB

And the latest update of After Effects CC

It's very hard to say what you are missing without knowing the details of your project. Thanks for including you machine specs.

For some projects you need to set up the Secret preferences to purge frames. You'll find the option by holding down the shift key when you open Preferences>General, Click the bottom tab a set AE to purge every 2 to 4 frames and see if that helps. Make sure you check disable layer cache.

            Double-check that it's

This update just released. A few people on the forums have thought they were on the latest, but (for whatever reason) the CC app wasn't operating correctly.
