Hi - I am VERY new to InDesign. Haven't ever really taken classes, but rather been given docs to update and messed around in there to get it to work.
I am trying to place an image with a black background into a header which is black. However, the black background of the image is slightly lighter than the black background of the header, so I want to make the image's background transparent so that the black background of the actual header is that of the image's as well.
Please advise. Thank you!
That has to be done in Photoshop. Save as PSD with the transparent background and place the file in InDesign.
And the term "header" is used in MSWord as an item to appear on all pages, in InDesign you do this on Master pages.
I strongly recommed you get some training, such as that provided by Lynda.com and others.
