From what I see online the price difference between comparably equipped i5 and i7 desktops is maybe $150 tops. Not a lot. However, there is a very big difference in performance for editing applications. I think buying an i5 system would be money ill-spent. Save up a few more weeks and do it right or you will have a dog for an editing system.
Hi and thanks for your reply.
How it's going to effect into the performance? Rendering is much slower, anything else? I think I could update it to i7 later. Is i5 just rubbish?

Everything will be deathly slow in Premiere Pro. You may not even be able to play a rendered timeline in real time. Exporting will also be slow.
You really also need to add more RAM. A total of 24GB minimum.

It's not rubbish, but is a poor choice for video editing.
