I should have included more info. I'm using Premiere elements 13 and trying to save the file as MPEG2, which I believe is the default setting.
What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 13 running on? And, what player is giving you the no audio but video playback? Is this a
computer player or TV DVD or Blu-ray player? Or, does the problem involve play back of the Premiere Elements 13 export in the Elements Organizer 13?
What are the full details of your Publish+Share/Computer/presumed MPEG? What are you setting under Presets?
Are you leaving default settings for the preset selected or customizing the preset's export settings under the presets
Advanced Button/Video Tab and Audio Tab?
Operating system is Windows 8.1. I'm trying to play the video through the Photoshop organizer where the audio doesn't work. I only see components of the project when I try and run it through MS Video player. I can only seem to save it as a project but not as an MPEG. I'm only trying to run this on my computer.
Just want to make sure that we are in sync on the details.
I am understanding that you are exporting your Premiere Elements Timeline as a MPEG2.mpg file and are not getting any audio playback with the video.
It is my further understanding that your player is the one in the Elements Organizer that comes with your Premiere Elements software.
Is that all correct so far?
If so, what happens when you play back that saved MPEG2.mpg in Windows Media Player and any other of your computer players? Is there
sound associated with the file when you do that?
There are known problems with play back of file imported into the Elements Organizer from version to version. So it is important for
us to distinguish between an Elements Organizer playback problem in its player and a computer player playback problem with the file.
Looking forward to further news.
Your understanding is correct. When I play in the Windows Media player it plays just the audio but no video. Great huh?
