- What OS do you have?
- What OS does your client have?
- What type of font is making problems?
- Where the file packaged?
- Where is the file saved?
- Where are the fonts saved?
Thank you for the reply.
We are both on Mac Yosemite.
Two fonts: Square Frame MT (TrueType Open Type) and Wiescher Design - BulletNumbersSansPos (PostScript Open Type)
The file is packaged and saved within Creative Cloud files folder
The fonts are also saved in the CC folder called 'Document fonts'
If the fonts are saved in the Documents Font folder then should it work in any INDD file which saved in this folder.
If you create a new document, these fonts are not available until you save it in the very same folder.
If you open an INDD from an older version these fonts are also not available as long as the document is not saved in the very same folder.
If you need them globally, save them in the known folders of your OS which are HD/Library/Fonts for all users, HD/users/…/Library/Fonts for a specific user only, or in Application SUpport or in the Font Folder for the application only.
As I recall, Type1 fonts do not work with the Document Installed Fonts feature and would need to be installed in one of the fonts folders, but the TT font ought to be working...
