What is the color space of your document, transparency flattening?

Did you create a PDF prior printing? If so, how have you done it?
How do the colors look like in InDesign’s Overprint Preview? How in Acrobat?

I didn't create a pdf first - is this something I should do?
Many printers don't get along well with ID. It's definitely worth trying an exported PDF instead.
My concern is that I am printing business cards - and they have to be laid out very precisely.
I seem to lose a lot of control over my margins etc when I try to print from a pdf.
Am I incorrect?
You shouldn't. Perhaps you have page scaling enabled in the print dialog (It's on by default in Acrobat).
But this actually sounds more like a color management issue. Are yo sure the assigned color profiles are the same for both files?
On my original, I have a logo that is a bright 'forest' green.
If I print my original, it remains bright.
Is the original an InDesign file you are placing in the 10-up InDesign file, or is it from another application?
