AE doesn't support full Unicode glyph substitution and that is that. You have to import your text as a graphic from elsewhere.
Do you mean,"there is no other solution?"
Photoshop do support it. So,why don't After Effects?
Because Photoshop and After Effects have two completely different type engines and they are very complex. It would be lovely if all Adobe Apps shared the same type engines but we are not there yet. I actually do a lot of typesetting in In Design and then move that to other apps because ID does it so much better than any other Adobe app.
