since a couple how weeks Lightroom began to automatically select a second image every time I select one in the strip (library or develop module). The second image selected gets a dot on the upper right corner of the thumbnail. If I try to deselect all (Control+D), after a few moments it automatically reselects two images! What is that?
I tried to update to Lightroom 5.7 but the issue is still there.
Edit: here's a video when you can see how this "works":
you might have enabled the Compare-function on a second monitor (that you have or have not). If that's the case, Lightroom will always select two photos to be compared. Click shift-C to disable the Compare function, select one photo, and see if Lightroom will still select two photos (normally not).
All the best,
What... thanks I tried with going to grid view then loupe view but it never changed anything...
Shift + C did the trick! Never used compare mode, sorry...
I must have fat-fingered compare mode on at some point without realizing it. You just saved my sanity.
