Im using a mac with an intel hd 4000 graphics card with 1024mb video ram and when I run photoshop cs6 or photoshop cc and drag a layer around the screen, its not smooth but choppy and in general just seems sluggish. If I use photoshop CS4 this doesn't seem to happen. Im also running bootcamp with windows 7 on this same computer and if I run photoshop CC on the windows side it runs great. This has to be a driver issue with the mac side using the intel hd 4000 video card. Any idea on how to fix this? Its not the hardware because in windows both of these programs run just fine on the same machine.
Same issue here! I have a brand new Macbook Pro Retina MID 2014. I think it's a bug in the OS. Are you on Yosemite?
I made a video to show the problem:
If you are on MacOS 10.10 - there are several known video driver bugs that Apple is still working to resolve.
You can disable GPU drawing to help temporarily. If you need the GPU features, then you may need to downgrade to a more stable version of MacOS.
this is happening on mac osx mavericks as well, same issue with lag like the video above shows. when will this be fixed?
