I'm using the trail version of AE CC. I am using a template and very new to AE so I don't know the proper terminology. Within the template there are images and I am to just type in my new text. However, one of the images is being cut off on the master render viewer so that the image is in an invisible rectangle (shown in picture) and is missing part of the top and bottom and just showing the background. The new file itself is fine but I'm at the end of my work and I can't start over. I reviewed other flowers in the timeline that look fine and the settings are all the same as the one being cut off. So I can't figure out what the issue is nor what to call this to even google it. Thank you for any help you can provide!
I just figured out that the "For Comp Layer" button is turned off but I can't seem to get it back on. Is there an easy suggestion. I fear there isn't
As you've p4robably figured out by now, simple possession of an AE template is no guarantee of AE success. Templates typically assume you have an intermediate knowledge of AE, and you're just beginning.
There are a lot of basics to learn, and you'll find them here:
You should ask the creator of the file itself. But its probably this * symbol got unchecked on the flower layer.its a checkbox on your timeline, each layer has one.
