Can Lightroom change settings of a tethered camera?

When using Lightroom and tethered to a Canon 5D MIII I can fire the camera but can't change any settings like the Fstop or shutter speed..  Is this something that is not possible in Lightroom?

Lightroom isn't a remote camera controller, so no, it can't do that.

Too bad.  The tether window takes up lots of room just to be able to fire a camera.  Why put the rest of the info in the tether window?  I can just look in the camera to see them if I have to change the settings there anyway. Not really impressed with LR.  I have one client that has it on most of the camera sets so I figure I should learn how to use it.  No one there actually knows much about LR as they only use it to fire the camera and then use Camera Raw in Bridge to open the CR2 files. Can't figure why they actually have it on their systems the way it's being used. I'm going to try and stay on the set I usually use which has CO Pro on it.  I find it much more user friendly and a better fit in a fast paced shooting environment.

            Thanks for the answer.
