I understand that this is a user forum ( I am a long time dreamweaver forum user ) but I have often found better help with issues from users rather tnan wait forever for adobe to help - thanks for your reply.

welcome to the club, I have the sme problem. But at least my apps are working, but Creative Cloud refuses to install itself.... so no updates ?
After searching thru this forum I found a series of things that when applied together fixed the problem ( I am using a mac )
1. I found in the Applications> Utillities folder an app called Adobe Application Manager which I deleted manually
2. I then uninstalled Creative Cloud Application
3. I then downloaded the creative Cloud cleaner tool (windows and mac version found here - Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6
4. Download and installed the new Application manager - MAC: http://download.adobe.com/pub/adobe/creativesuite/cs/mac/ApplicationManager7.0_all.dmg
open this and start the application it will then proceed to upgrade itself - I then found the CC icon in the menu bar at the top allowing me to install the apps.

I am having a similar problem (not exactly).
My MacbookPro has been able to update CC apps in the past but have failed on install after download. I have ensured my security settings are set to App Store and identified developers but it still will not install the downloaded updates.
I can't believe you took part of your time just to solve our problems!!!! I did every step you said and finally it works!!!!!!!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH, I've been trying since 1 month!!!
