    Lightroom brushes in specific order

    alabukm Level 1

      I hope someone can help with this. I want to put my brushes in an order where the ones I use the most are at the top. I went into the Local Adjustments Presets folder where they reside and put an "a1." in front of those that I use most hoping they would be at the top of the list. However, when I go to LR5 they are in alphabetical order. Any way to fix that?? TIA!

          Hello,

          you are on the right track. But LR does not display the name of the file, it displays the name stored in the file. You can open a lrtemplate file with any text editor (eg. Notepad++) and change it. By default, file name and name inside template are identically.

          Example:

          s = {

            id = "48DC18DF-1A7F-4685-A27B-F61547D71A58",

            internalName = "SB Eyes",

            title = "SB Eyes",

            type = "LocalizedAdjustmentPreset",

            value = {

            clarity = 0.61672800779343,

          ...

            Thank THG-BO.  I was lucky... once I re-opened (for the third time) they are in the order I want now!  Guess I got lucky... =)
