Is this due to "the cloud"? I run win 8.1 on a Lenovo Y50. Sorry, but does the software actually run in the cloud and not locally? (I'm assuming so.) If so, is anyone else having problems today? I have to do other work while I wait for Flash CC to respond to my simple requests. I even tried restarting the program a couple times. Incredibly frustrating as I have a lot of work to do today! thanks! I'm not having any problems with the other software on my machine running slow.
no, adobe cc software (including flash pro) runs locally on your computer. you just sign in (once every 30 or 99 days) using the cloud to show you're authorized to continue using your locally installed adobe cc software.
Thanks kglad. I wasn't sure and couldn't remember how the install went - I thought it ran remotely. Anyway, I found out why Flash CC was locking up. It's because I have a high def monitor. Apparently, Flash doesn't like that. So, I had to change my screen resolution settings, especially the text size setting. Once I did that - problem solved! Whew! I can finally do my work! Adobe is looking into fixing this issue on an upcoming update / release (fingers crossed).
