    Text Flow Across Frames

I'm using InDesign CS5 right now, and I am having an issue that I don't know how to fix.

Every now and then, when a paragraph ends at the bottom of a text frame, the extra line break after the paragraph flows into the next frame. This looks awkward, as the paragraph on the next page then does not start at the top of its frame, but one line down.

Is there any way to set things so that these empty line breaks will stay on the previous page instead of shifting on to the next page and creating a blank line?

I know I could manually set a specific amount of space after each paragraph, but if possible I would rather not use that method. I am hoping there is some way that InDesign can be set to do this automatically, sort of the way Microsoft Word does it if a paragraph break occurs across a page.

      Thanks!
