I am new to web design so bear with me.
I am messing around with a slideshow made at 1280x699, and I checked responsive by Width and published it.
When I insert it to dreamweaver it goes 100% width and takes up the full screen. How can I make it say 50% and scale itself down?
Your slideshow is large? Sounds like you may need to scale down the slideshow from the 1280x699, first, then re-publish, insert into Dw. Also consider the size of the target container the slideshow will fit into before re-publishing - best to match the maximum width of the target container.
Have you set the page width (or div width) in Dreamweaver? As heathrowe said above, you need to have some kind of a container div if you want to constrain the slideshow to a specific width.
thank you for the reply.
I guess what I am not sure about is that if I make it in pixels in edge but want it in % in dreamweaver do I publish it in its pixel form on edge (with responsive by width checked) and then set the container to my % and it should resize properly? Or is my process wrong there?
