It is my understanding that Creative Suite CS66 was updated to handle standard size retina screens on Mac. I am wondering has anyone tried using any of the CS6 software (mainly PS, ID, AI) on the new iMac with the 5k retina screen?
If so, does everything appear small or is it scaled up clearly?
Thanks in advance for your comments.
InDesign CS6 does not support Retina Displays. You must have at minimum Adobe InDesign CC.
Some applications start with CS6, like Photoshop or Illustrator.
Some later, Dreamweaver with CC2014.
Support of retina displays needs a complete new programming, so it was not possible to do it with ID CS6.
Sorry for late reply - haven't had internet.
ID CS6 not having hiDPI support really is a crashing disappointment and a real let down. Thanks for the answer.
