Is on-line chat active at present?
My question to them concerns my purchase of Lightroom 5 from a friend who has migrated to the Cloud and has therefore ceased to be registered with Lr.
However when I try to use the facilities of Lr I'm advised to renew my subscription - on a paid for program. Is is possible to transfer ownership?
Also, when I imported my 12,000 photos from iPhoto, they have multiplied to 18,000. Any ideas?
Right now I feel you think your dealing with Adobe here. That is wrong. This is a Adobe Photoshop User forum that is funded by Adobe. Some Adobe employees from time to time look in here.
There are also links to here from Adobe Photoshop Help. Other links in Photoshop Help will take you to Adobe Support which state awsome support personal that's their wording some actually speak and type English quite well better then me....
So If you having a problem with lightroom it would be wise to ask how you can deal with in in the Lightroon forum.. Lightroom Classic CC — The desktop-focused app
Personally I do not use Lightroom however some Photoshop uses do so you may also get some help here.
Perpetual licences can be transferred however if your using his subscription it may work as a one month trial. To use a subscription install you need a subscription. $10 a month gets you Photoshop and Lightroom.
A perpetual Lightroom is also available for purchase. If you friend has one it can be transferred Transfer an Adobe product license
Thank you. I'll follow your advice.
