Have 10.10.1 Mac and adobe won't get past 97% on the update...help!

I have just finished the update on my Mac to 10.10.1 and when I try to install the update for Adobe Flash Player it gets to 97% and freezes.  I have tried going into the Activity Monitor and closing programs that are not responding, but this has not helped.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.  This is so frustrating!
