If you used it and upgraded it your still using its licence for the upgrade your now using.
If you now have a subscription I would "think" if you remove all perpetual version of Photoshop you have installed. That you can Transfer your perpetual licence here is a link to Transfer an Adobe product license
I'm keeping my old perpetual CS6 220.127.116.11 on my old desktop its different then CS6 13.1.2 subscription CS6 on my workstation.
